An Unconventional Poem

"I like being the quiet one;
The one who sits and ponders,
Observing and learning,
Thinking and dreaming.
I may not always be the one
Filling the air with my words
But rest assured when the right word is spoken
Laughter will follow, or a smile appear
And if being the quiet one means
That I get to surprise you with a remark of wit
Then let me be the quiet one
It suits me quite a bit."
